Siri held her former Master’s gaze for a moment as Adi leaned forward, turning her attention to Anakin, the Tholothian Jedi Master as regal an impassive as ever, her deep blue eyes gazing intently at the tall Padawan beside Siri, seeming almost to bore straight through him to determine the sincerity of his concerns. ( A look that Siri was not unfamiliar with, having been on the receiving end of it more than once. ) “ A vision, ” she repeated musingly, lacing her long fingers together.
“ I believe that what Anakin has felt — and seen — is true,” Siri spoke up, looking evenly at her former Master. Adi, of everyone on the Council, was the most likely to listen to her ( to side with her ) of that, Siri was certain. ( Had Siri herself not been on a mission once where her communication was very limited, and would Adi not have wanted to sent in help if she had felt Siri in need? ) “I trust Anakin’s connection with the Force, and to Obi-Wan. I’ll take full responsibility for the consequences of our presence on Bamayar, and for Anakin, in absence of his Master. ”
SHAME WEIGHS AGAINST his ribcage, the Council’s inherent distrust of his abilities baring a hidden but familiar edge that frets electric in Anakin’s nerves. His smile — summoned earlier as a symbol of his deference — grows severe, along with the complete stillness of his features. Like winter, sculpted in distant sobriety && completely shuttered. Coldness contains the space between him && the Council. He hides the tremor in his right hand with the long sleeves of his robe.
Sibilant murmurs deck the wide round room, each accompanied by suspicious revolutions of their heads a degree to address some other matter of concern. Mace casts a vaguely sorrowful glance of reproach in Siri direction; the master to stand responsible for Anakin’s actions in Obi-Wan’s absence. There are three people living who do not look at Anakin that way. &&none of them are here. ❝ The Council is concerned Padawan Skywalker’s emotions may be affecting his judgement of the situation. ❞ Anger unlocks his artificial placidity, && a spate of defenses scour his mind without focus or aim. Anakin raises his voice, perhaps too quickly.
❝ I know what I saw. My connection to Obi—Master Keonobi is just proof that what I’m feeling is real. ❞ Ki-Adi-Mundi strokes a hand through his beard, looking unconvinced. It’s Adi who speaks again this time, sitting up straighter to command attention to herself. ❝ I believe Padawan Skywalker’s concern to be genuine. If his connection to Master Kenobi is as strong as he believes, he has access to information we do not, && may very well be correct in saying Master Kenobi is in danger. ❞ Mace’s glare could carve holes in the ozone layer. ❝ Padawan Skywalker should accompany Master Tachi on a reconnaissance mission to Bamayar to determine the validity of his vision. ❞ Whispers break out again, masters up in arms at the suggestion.

A private verse tied into ahphra's Sith verse and shadcwpreacher's alternate background. In this verse, after being rebuffed by his son, Vader looks to train Doctor Chelli Aphra as his apprentice.

Let me tell you the story that's been scored into the stars. The family that turned the galaxy upside down. There was a man, with the weight of a prophecy lining his shoulders, and a thermonuclear furnace in his heart. He loved a woman, a proud, strong, kind woman who loved him equally, despite the anger, and the Darkness that grew in him. And the man watched her die every night in his dreams.
That man told himself if he can carry a prophecy, he can prevent a dream from becoming reality. Whatever it takes.

SO WHAT HAPPENED
The man exchanged his loyalty for her life, and killed the people who raised him. He ended a war in one night, the fire of the gods burning behind him on a metal moutaintop.
The woman he loved was no fool, she could sight a fire started in her name. A queen knows when someone is bowing.
She meets him on a molten planet, begs him to stray from the Darkness. But there is a shadow in the place of the man she loved, a monster.
He takes her breath to silence her, doomed to paranoia on the arrival of his brother, who is too, in some ways, a shadow. Forced to kill the man meant to save them all.
So the man dies, and is reborn. Baptized by fire. The woman he loved dies too. And eventually, even the brother dies.
