               THE PATIENCE && careful deliberation suffused into each of the Vulcan’s answers does not go unnoticed, or unappreciated

               Tensions bred by the beginning of the Clone Wars had severed the precarious alliance between the Federation && the Republic. Starfleet couldn’t find the logic in sending their people to die for an ending that wouldn’t even effect them. Which left either star system at awkward opposites. Had this particular mission not been inspired solely by the interests of the Order it’s unlikely the Federation would have greenlit it in the first place. 

               Her pleasant indifference to his status—something to be expected from a Vulcan—is more welcoming than any of the measured wariness the Jedi had to combat on his way to the hangar. && for that he is grateful.
