When Anakin has both his hands as a padawan they’re dark, the nails bitten short && stained with engine oil. Small white nicks littering his knuckles && palms from working in mechanics without any access to bacta. His right hand bore a deep, jagged scar along the side of his pinky from a minor crash in a podracer. He pierced his hand along a sheet of twisted durasteel escaping the pod, && it was deemed a miracle he didn’t suffer anything more serious.
His mechnohand is highly modified && crafted from sleek, matte durasteel. Anakin’s personally equipped it with a backup power cell for shortages && several non-conductive settings so he has the ability to reach it through Force shields. The arm has sensors for pressure && heat but he can’t distinguish textures with the fingertips nor feel pain.
His left hand from AOTC onwards takes on a more dominant role in Anakin’s life. Although it never becomes his preferred hand, it does become very important when it comes to interacting with the people he loves. Anakin retains many of the stigmas his fellow padawans passed onto him after he lost his arm. Mainly the idea that it makes him a lesser Jedi because it limits his connection to the Force. For this reason, he rarely leaves it uncovered in front of anyone but Padmé.
Overall, his hands are very strong, big && firm, the left hand being calloused && prominently veined. His fingers are long && slender, capable of dealing delicateness just as accurately as damage.
